Berny and Walter threw the best party, eh hem, wedding of the year! I have never had so much fun at a wedding until today…and I was working too! 😛 Everyone was warm and friendly and inviting. Berny and Walter were so thoughtful in their planning of the wedding. They included an open bar, late night snacks, a photobooth, warm lounge area to hide from the cold temperatures in the evening and even had the fight on (we’ll get into that later). The reception was awesome! The rooftop at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles! It was an amazing night, a memorable first wedding for me. I hope to shoot many more weddings for amazing couples in the future.
I’m testing out a new lens, the 35 mm f/ 1.4! I’m in love.
Manny Paquiao, a hero among the Filipino community, is a championship boxer and was set to fight on that night! You can see Greg watching the documentary on Manny. Yes, he won the fight.I love that Walter gave his groomsmen the choice of lining the inside of their suits a different color. Very cool idea indeed. Before getting into the limo, the guys made a pit stop at Johnny Rockets which is located in the lobby of the museum.St. Elizabeth Church is filled with glorious light. I use to live a couple of minutes from the church when I was growing up, but I never paid it a visit. This was the first time I experienced a behind the scenes look of a processional.
Twin flower girls!Yes, twin groomsmen too!
The ring bearer fell asleep during the ceremony.I heart this little girl. She is named after my idol! Giada de Laurentiis. That is one gorgeous lace shawl. I love lace, and my future wedding gown will be lace! Yup, Monique Lhuillier. That’s right ladies, Robert Pattinson made a special trip to the reception. ;P
Walter never ever drinks alcohol so this was a historic moment that needed to be captured. After dinner and dessert, the party got started! What a party indeed! It was hands down the best reception ever.
