Shannon + Stefan | Redlands Wedding Photographer

This wonderful couple along with their three boys flew back to Southern California from North Dakota to share their wedding with their family and friends. I had the pleasure of second shooting for Ivy Wong of Studio Tong Photography. The day was filled with family and friends that love Shannon and Stefan. It was an extremely hot summer day in August, but the whole wedding party was relaxed and ready for the long over due nuptials to take place.

I love that Shannon chose these gorgeous green sandals to wear with her gown because it was extremely hot and walking in sandals over grass made it much easier to maneuver in.

Aren’t the floral arrangements gorgeous? They were all hand done and bought fresh from the L.A. floral market earlier in the morning. The sky was so clear and so blue. It made for a gorgeous ceremony site indeed. Here are Shannon and Stefan’s two boys walking down the aisle blowing bubbles. The hanker chief around the bouquet belonged to Shannon’s grandmother. I thought it was so sweet that she incorporated a piece of her grandmother into her wedding.Shannon has such a creative touch. She made all the seed packets herself as well as the table decor! These round light bulbs threw me for a loop! It made drinking regular soda much more enjoyable!

Christina + Chris | Malibu Wedding Photographer

This magnificent wedding took place during the height of the summer wedding season. Thank you to Lin & Jirsa studio for having me as an associate photographer for the day! Christina and Chris are such gorgeous people inside and out with impeccable taste as well. Just look at their wedding venue!

This is the breathtaking beauty, Christina. She’s absolutely glowing with happiness. She never stopped smiling the entire day. And here comes the speeches….such heart felt words from Chris. I got teary eyed as well.

Malibu Estate | Malibu Wedding Photographer

During the summer, I was an assistant photographer for Lin & Jirsa studio. The venue was such a beauty that I had to create a post dedicated to the Malibu estate! This was my first wedding at such a gorgeous million dollar home overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This tri-level estate was absolutely immaculate and I could have spent all day photographing all the gorgeous details.

Kathy + Ron | Assistant Photographer for Madeleine Temme.

Whew! Now that fall is finally here and the summer wedding season is finally put to bed, I am catching up on all the events that I have photographed over the summer. I had the extraordinary opportunity to second shoot for Madeleine Temme of Abundanty Above Photography.

Let’s get the images underway shall we?

This image made me tear up as well. Ronald is so in love with his beautiful and spunky bride, Kathy. Throughout the ceremony, Ronald kept telling his bride “I love you so much.” Yeah, now you can see why I was tearing up right?I was so honored to be able to capture this momentous day in Kathy and Ron’s life. You see they were high school sweethearts. However, life took them in separate directions and lead them to different sides of the country. Both lead their lives and as fate would have it, both lost their spouses. Surprisingly, Ronald went on a search for his long lost high school sweetheart and after much trials and tribulations, he found her, courted her, and married her.
Kathy may be a mature bride, but she is full of fire and spunk! I loved her energy and grace. All the decor was hand done…even the beautiful programs.Thank you Kathy and Ron and Madeleine! I had a blast!
