O.M.G. I have been anxiously awaiting to blog this fantastic wedding for a long time! I just want to send a big shout out to Nolwen from Between Lenses and Roses for having me second shoot for her. This was definitely the location and wedding of my dreams!
I also have to give a huge shout out to the beautiful ladies at Nonpareil Events who did such an incredible job, bringing all the tiniest details to life in such a short time.
Nolwen and I took off from Los Angeles and drove passed Santa Barbara to the beautiful wine country of Cayucos to the winery Lagos Giuseppe. Susanna and Justin planned the perfect intimate wedding for their closest friends and family in a serene and woodsy setting perfectly reflecting their style. The light at Cayucos was dreamy and made for gorgeous portraits.
And for all the couples out there, do yourself a favor and plan a trip to the beautiful wine country of California. The stars shine likes diamonds against the night sky without all the city lights interfering. It was the most romantic sights you will set your eyes on!
Light is divine isn’t it?
Ah, her bridesmaids who traveled all the way from Sweden. They grew up together from elementary school!
All grooms should do this. Write a loving note to your bride before seeing her walk down the aisle.
The theme = travel. Susanna did convince her dad to move her and family to the States so she can pursue her dream of becoming a film maker.
I can’t believe how relaxed and calm Susanna was. Most brides would be quite nervous, but Susanna was just chillin’ with her new pup and a bottle of beer! Love this girl.
The stunning work and incredible vision of the ladies from Nonpareil Events! I mean just look at this table! All brought down from San Francisco.
Susanna and Justin met while shooting a film. Don’t they look like stars? Adore!
The light in Cayucos is absolutely dreamy. I love the fact that Susanna and Justin decided to exchange vows under this huge tree with a lake behind them. I just love the simplicity of the ceremony site. Guests were focused on the couple.
Susanna is so gorgeous. When I captured this image, she reminded me of a Hollywood starlet in her movie trailer getting prepped for a big scene.
